TIME FOR IMUS TO GO

DON IMUS MUST GO

He did it again. Eighteen months after insulting the Rutgers women's basketball tem, now he has done it to an NFL player.

Don Imus talked on-the-air about the arrest of suspended Dallas Cowboys cornerback Adam Jones by asking, "What color is he?" Sports announcer Warner Wolf answered that he was "African-American."

Imus responded: "There you go. Now we know."

I never thought I would hear myself say that "Al Sharpton" was right. Well, he was.

He said Imus would do it again, and that he would be watching him. He also said that Imus deserved a second chance. Let there NOT be a third.

The Broadcasting industry is in trouble. People have stopped listening to radio. The younger generation is too busy with their I-Pods and I-Tunes to care about radio.

This kind of garbage does not belong on the airwaves.

Our society has become "race sensitive" I am not going into the right and wrong of this. BUT IT IS WHAT IT IS.

I have been a Don Imus fan since his early days at WGAR in Cleveland. I grew up listening to "Imus in the morning" But drugs and booze has ruined his voice. He is out of touch with today's society.

As much good as he has done at his boy's ranch, he will always be remembered as a
"Racist". What a waste of a great career.

Don Imus will be placed in the same category as former Indiana Basketball coach Bobby Knight. Not remembered for the good they did, but for the things they said.

It's a real shame
